I-Box attends the 3rd meeting of the SHIELD project

On 24-25 January 2019 took place at the Huis van de Wind (the House of Wind) in Den Helder (NL), the 3rd transnational meeting of the SHIELD Project.
During the meeting, the 5 partners of the project, I -Box Create (Spain), SHIPCON (Cyprus), Acta Center (Romania), PRIME (Holland) and PREVIFORM (Portugal) could explain the work done in the last months and make the last arrangements of the 10 days pilot training to be held in Den Helder, from 25 January to 3 February, with attendees from each partners’ country. It was also discussed during the meeting the next work to be done, in relation to the IO5, which consists on making a MOOC (massive online open course) based on the training delivered in Den Helder.

The MOOC as well as the training course are devoted to Health and Safety in the offshore sector, and are addressed to people willing to work in this sector. Particip of the course will do also visits to several key places related to the offshore sector in The Netherlands, such as the Maritime Museum in Rotterdam or the DHTC facilities in Den Helder among others.

The SHIELD final meeting will be in Ponte de Lima (PT) on 11-12 July 2019, coinciding with the SHIELD final Conference.

Los días 24 y 25 de Enero de 2019 tuvo lugar en Huis van de Wind (la Casa del Viento) en Den Helder (NL), la 3ª reunión transnacional del proyecto SHIELD.

Dur la reunión, los 5 socios del proyecto, I-Box Create (España),
SHIPCON (Chipre), Acta Center (Rumanía), PRIME (Holanda) y PREVIFORM (Portugal) pudieron explicar el trabajo realizado dur los últimos meses y finalizar las últimas gestiones para el curso piloto de 10 días que se realizará en Den Helder del 25 de enero al 3 de febrero, con asistentes de todos los países socios del proyecto. También se trabajó en el trabajo pendiente, sobre todo en el IO5, consistente en un MOOC (curso masivo online abierto) basado en la formación impartida en Den Helder.

T el MOOC como el curso piloto tratan sobre seguridad y salud en el sector offshore, y están dirigidos a personas que quieran trabajar en este sector. Los particips del curso también visitarán varios lugares relacionados con el sector offshore en Holanda, como el Museo Marítimo de Roterdam o las instalaciones de la empresa DHTC en Den Helder, entre otros.

La reunión final del proyecto SHIELD se hará en Ponte de Lima (PT) los días 11 y 12 de julio de 2019, coincidiendo con la conferencia final del proyecto.
