From October 18 to 22, 2022, the training workshop was held in Budapest coordinated by the local organization Anthropolis. All the partners of the project attended, who were also accompanied by 4 people from each country. In total, there were 36 people of multiple nationalities (Pakistan, Korea, Mexico, Denmark, Spain, England, Italy, Hungary, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Romania).

During the first day, the participants were immersed in a wide variety of activities to break the ice and to build teams. This was relevant to create the work environment for the following days. On Wednesday the 19th, different workshops were held by the project partners to show part of what had been done in previous formations:

Asfar CIC (UK) shared their gender-sensitive approach to social entrepreneurship,

Gratitude: a different approach to vulnerability by Associazione SUD (Italy)

WOMCA, Promoted the creative spirit and superpowers of women to start social entrepreneurship by IBOX Create (Spain).

InterCollege (Denmark) presented women’s empowerment methods from its Equal Start program

International Internships SRL (Romania) promotes understanding of human trafficking.

Starting on the 20th and for 3 successive days, the bulk of the training focused on digital storytelling (Digital Story Telling). This methodology encourages empathy and self-understanding by creating a narrated story based on personal experiences, points of view or stories with images and dialogues. In those 3 days, the participants wrote their stories and edited their words into images, video and audio of their choice using computer tools, focusing on self-reflection.
