Here we meet again! This time in Bari, Puglia, Italy hosted by our partner Associazione Sud to discover many projects in the South of Italy promoting women entrepreneurship and migrant inclusion! From April 4th to 6th we have had the chance to discover the Ethnic Cook project where migrants can learn to cook and offer through the project an intercultural fusion cuisine to their guests as well as obtain a certificate allowing them to work in food treatment jobs.
We also were received at the Town hall of Martina Franca to visit an exhibition by and on women survivors of violence to get some creative inspiration and reflect on how craft arts can be performative for inclusion and allowing women to create an income for themselves through creative works.
The Region of Puglia representant also received us to present their Gender Agenda Report and Regional Strategy for the Gender Equality. Overall it has been a visit full of meetings with diverse kind of actors striving for Gender Equality – from institutions to grassroot third sector and social entrepreneurs.
