Feasibility of Wave Power Generation Systems

Project financed by the Torres Quevedo program for the incorporation of a doctor in I-Box Create to carry out the Feasibility Study of Implantation of Wave Power Generation Systems in Port-Maritime Infrastructures (PTQ-1507506).

The general objective of the project is focused on studying the feasibility of implementing wave power generation systems, taking advantage of the port and maritime infrastructures that currently exist.

The specific objectives to be achieved with the development of this project are:
1.- Carry out a detailed analysis of the possibilities that exist to incorporate wave power generation systems to port structures.
2. – Evaluate the available wave energy potential in the selected ports.
3.- Propose a generic prototype of a wave power system, which allows integration into port or maritime infrastructures, to satisfy the energy needs of the port.
